Helen Gerstenfeld is a Research Analyst at BigSur Partners. She collaborates in financial and economic research for portfolio analysis, and supports the Investment Committee with manager selection and data reporting, as well as investment decision-making.
Prior to joining BigSur Partners, Ms. Gerstenfeld worked at the United Nations Statistics Division in New York where she worked with a team of statisticians collecting and processing data for a centralized data-base of donors and partners. Prior to this experience, she interned at the United Nations Development Program working for the Human Development Report and the International Labor Organization in Chile.
Ms. Gerstenfeld earned a Bachelor’s degree from Brown University, where she doubled-majored in Economics and International Relations. She received Honors for her Thesis: The Varying Weights of Elites, Networks and State Capacity on Shifting from an Extractive Growth Model to an Innovative Growth Model.
